Lacy, Vreeland

Post  SweetRadiation on Sun Dec 07, 2008 5:22 am

Position: Student
Name: Lacy, Vreeland
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Species: Half-demon Shape Shifter
House: Earth

NPCs: She has a pet toad, named Ronnald.

Appearance: Here
Personality: She talks little, spend her time reading, and really just needs friends. She prefers to shift into birds, and larg cats.

History: Lacy was born a half-demon, her mother the human in the exchange. Her father dissapeared later that night, knowing that the woman he had slept with had concieved a child. Though he had gotten what he had wanted, he wanted no part their life. Nine months later, Lacy was born unto a small family.

Lacy grew up working the streets, her mother turning to drugs, alcohol. Her mother couldn't cope with Lacy's unnatural ability to impersonate the cat down to the last white whisker. At ten, Lacy was taken out of her mother's care and placed in a foster home. Which seemed to go well, that is, until she decided to show Carol, her foster mother, what the old dog down the street looked like.

Everything went down hill from there. Lacy was passed from foster home to foster home, never showing anyone her powers. She'd learned her lesson. As time went on, she began to hate life, her mother, her demon father, everything. She was beaten daily in most of the foster homes, and eventually, at fifteen, ran away. She lived the streets again from then on. Living as a larg cat or dor for period of time.

Eventually, she heard tale of a school, and she began to wonder of it. She knew of other half-demons, and went to meet some of them. Some knew of this fabled school, some had just heard whispers of it. Soon, though, she heard something about it's wereabouts, and travelled there to try to find where she might belong.

(obviously, since The Divide would be the school, she found it)

Rp Sample: Edward sat on a far couch beside the window. It was quiet in the Rec room at the moment, being nearly 8am, most others where sleeping. Zachary was with him, as Zachary always was, sitting beside him on the small couch. He'd look up from his book every once in a while, eyes searching Edwards, and upon finding them promptly looked back at his own book. Edward loved Zachary's eyes; they where the palest green he'd seen-as far as eyes go.

Just then, as Edward was thinking of such eyes, those eyes shot up, as if on cue. Edward smiled up at Zachary, who was half a foot taller than him. When Zachary looked back into his book, Edward watched him for some time before glancing out at the pounding rain falling from the dreary sky. Then he turned back to his book, his thoughts more on Zachary than on the book.

Childhood friends... Platonic love… That’s all it ever was for the two boys. For a long time yet, though, Edward had wanted more. Mother physically and emotionally. But Zachary seemed more and more distant, and though Edward longed for a close, tighter linked, relationship, he’d have to make due with what he had. It didn’t seem as if Zachary was interested, or even noticed Edwards flirting.
